I'm pretty sure that I stand a better chance of finishing tomorrow's 5 miles (milder weather, later start, plus it's, well, 5 miles) than last week's 13.1.
My "long" run last Sunday was horrible, but when I got home and plugged in the Sportband I realized I'd actually been running faster than my regular tempo runs instead of slower as I should have been, so no wonder it sucked. My goal this weekend: Sloooooow dowwwwn.
Started ww in may 08;
started walking in may 09; 1st 5K (walked) in july 09; started run/walk in aug 09; first half on halloween 09; first 10k on thanksgiving 09; 10 half marathons and one duathlon (plus some other stuff) completed to date; still wondering about the big one...
