The lamest excuse for not running ever? Bowling injury.
Yes, the knees are oh so unhappy. Initial pain post-bowling has dissipated; however, knees are still wibbly-wobbly at random times. Not condusive to either 5K's or, more importantly, obstacles (even if they are Disneyfied versions of obstacles).
Started ww in may 08;
started walking in may 09; 1st 5K (walked) in july 09; started run/walk in aug 09; first half on halloween 09; first 10k on thanksgiving 09; 16 half marathons and one duathlon (plus some other stuff) completed to date; still wondering about the big one...
